Realtor Designations

From my last blog, you know the difference between Realtors and Real Estate Agents. You know that the designation of “Realtor” is preferred. This is the title I have. I also have other Realtor Designations.

My Other Realtor Designations

CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist)

Many individuals who live internationally purchase homes in Florida. Often, it’s a second home. But, sometimes they’re moving to the States permanently.

Furthermore, many individuals in Florida look for a second home overseas, or move overseas permanently.

Because of this, I earned the CIPS designation. This means I’ve undergone specialized training to complete global transactions seamlessly and with reduced risk.

The CIPS designation is the only international designation recognized by the National Association of REALTORS®. Only REALTORS® who complete the coursework and demonstrate experience in global business can call themselves a CIPS designee, and use the name and logo.

Consequently, these are some of the critical aspects of global transactions that I help clients with:

Additionally, I belong to a global network of more than 3500 realtors. These are my referral partners and we help our clients do business in over 45 countries! We ensure that our clients receive the same level of service, no matter where the real estate transaction is located.

RSPS (Resort and Second Home Property Specialist)

There are many individuals who buy or sell investment or second homes. My RSPS certification gives buyers confidence to work with me to buy, sell or manage properties for investment, development, retirement, or second homes.

Furthermore, these properties might be in a resort, recreational and/or vacation destination. Because I possess the RSPS certification, I’m uniquely equipped to assist them with their search.

So, to earn this certification, I successfully completed the Home Sweet (Second) Home: Vacation, Investment, Luxury Properties Course. Therefore, I carry the highest level of expertise in every part of the second home buying and selling process.

NAR’s Green Designation

I earned NAR’s Green Designation by completing two courses, and successfully passing an exam after each course.

The first course is The Resource-Efficient Home – Retrofits, Remodels, Renovations, and New Home Construction.

The second course is Representing Buyers & Sellers of Resource-Efficient Homes.

Because I possess the NAR’s Green Designation, I identify homes that are green-certified, and meet energy-efficiency standards. However, I not only assist you to purchase a newly-built sustainable property. I also am an expert in assisting you to identify eco-friendly features that exist in a property that is not “fully green.” Additionally, I help identify features that can be added after purchase.

Moreover, many experts say within the next several years, green building practices will be the norm. Consequently, most home buyers expect to find eco-friendly properties.

How My Realtor Designations Help You

I earned the above Realtor Designations to offer you, as a buyer or seller, the expert knowledge you deserve.

Contact me for all your real estate needs. I’ll help you find a second home, domestically or internationally. Or, an eco-friendly property. Regardless, I’m fully equipped to help you find your perfect home!

I look forward to our initial consultation!
