I admit it. I’m a foodie. But, really, most people are! Eating is fun. It’s social. It’s, well…I love it!
One restaurant that goes in my category of Palm Coast best restaurants is “386.”
“386” is known as “A Fusion of Fine Eating.” “386” serves fabulous and interesting food.
On their website, there is a little synopsis that I love:
Nestled among the majestic oak trees in “The Hammock,” alongside scenic A1A, lies 386, A Fusion of Fine Eating. Residing in a building reminiscent of “Old Florida,” 386 embodies the local spirit while invoking a worldly feel with cuisine.
Frank, the owner of 386, is accommodating to his customers and he’s so grateful that you’re there. He treats each customer as unique and special!
When I’m at 386 I get caught up in the ambiance. There is a comfy, homey feel there that I truly enjoy. Although I typically eat in the restaurant area, 386 has a fabulous Happy Hour in their bar area with the happiest, friendliest employees. It makes me think of “Cheers” (do you remember that TV show?)!
“386” Menu
The menu at 386 offers several seafood dishes, from Fish of the Day, to New England Sea Scallops, to Atlantic Grilled Salmon. And, how about this menu item:
San Fran Cioppino: Sauteed Prince Edward Island mussels, gulf shrimp, white fish, and scallops in a spiced tomato broth over parmesan risotto. Wow!
If you’re not a seafood fan, 386 offers a few other amazing dishes like Petite Filet Mignon, Boneless Ribeye, Kansas City Bone-In Pork Chop, New Zealand Rack of Lamb, and “386” Chicken (chargrilled chicken topped with sundried tomato, goat cheese and fresh basil with white wine).
386 will also delight you with dinner specials that are not available every day. Their appetizers also consist of creative dishes, including Sauteed Escargot and Thai Peanut Calamari. Is your mouth watering yet?
Additionally, 386 offers soups and salads, desserts, and wines from around the world. And if your children or grandchildren are joining you, they can order from the children’s menu.

I love that I have so many dining choices in Palm Coast! It truly makes living here that much more enjoyable. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming — that’s how much I love Palm Coast and the Hammock region!
Living, playing, and working here does feel like a dream. A very, very good dream!
